Multilingual teaching in early childhood education and care (ECEC) stems from the idea that in a multicultural society, such as Europe, it’s useful for children to learn English or others languages, as a precious resource for their future.

‘Say Hello to the World’ is an international project that connects children in kindergartens and schools by video network, where they can see each other live, wave to each other and learn their first foreign words. Much attention is given to learning about different cultures, traditions and ways of living. Children can show each other how they play, what songs they sing, what environment they live in, what food they eat, what language they speak, etc.

‘Say Hello to your Country’ is a subproject of the international ‘Say Hello to the World’ project and is intended for the children below the age of 3. Kindergartens connect via video call, where children can say hello to each other, communicate for the first time, etc.
